There are few things I enjoy more than traveling to new places. Each year my wife and I try to do a two-week international jaunt, though in 2020 we stayed home and explored new pockets of California. Below I’ve picked out ten photos from each big trip in recent years. We like to lay out a loose itinerary, balancing must-see attractions with detours off the beaten path. I try to learn some basic phrases in the local language and, when I’ve exhausted those, a smile and a pocket phrasebook take over. Every trip has been a remarkable experience and we are eager to reboot our travels in 2021.
